I am the bread boy
walking down the road

I see the question in your eyes
and I'm here for you

I am the bread boy
noone knows my name
but I've been here forever
and let me tell ya

I am the bread boy
I see the question in your eyes
and I'm here for you
oh won't you let me inside
it's so beatuiful
it's so beauuuuuu

it's so beauuuuuu

Silver Screen
04:53
|
|||
we were walking like nobody knew us
talking like everybody knew
we would be something together
if we all tried
when the sun supposed he was a saxophone
blew a tune unto our bones
our minds weren’t made but we had made our minds
you said I'm gonna be a man on the silver screen
and I'm gonna walk my momma down the carpet red
and I'm gonna sing a song you'll never forget
we’re gonna change the world that’s what we said
time goes by like a motorcycle
people you know are no longer who you thought you knew but still they're the people you know
we got ladies in the photographs
things we do aint the things we had
I wonder do you tell her when you’re alone
How I'm gonna be a man on the silver screen
and I'm gonna walk my momma down the carpet red
and I'm gonna sing a song you'll never forget
we’re gonna change the world that’s what we said
catch the blue bus to the aeroplane
close your eyes to the man insane
who's grown that way from so many closed eyes
no time to reconsider now
a penny for your thoughts on how
to not be late we must not waste more time
walking like nobody knew us
talking like everybody knew
we would be something together and we all tried
the sun supposed he was a saxophone
you said I'm gonna be a man on the silver screen
and I'm gonna walk my momma down the carpet red
and I'm gonna sing a song you'll never forget
we’re gonna change the world that’s what we said
we’re gonna change the world
we’re gonna change the world
we’re gonna change the world
that’s what we said

Medicine
04:24
|
|||
so tell me
do they tell you
you need medicine
to comply?
oh we
don’t need medicine
to fly
so waste your bones
let them collect them
marvel the light
say whats yours
oh we don’t need medicine
we don’t need anything anymore
you be the red balloon I am your string
and together we’ll fly behind between
that’s where we all want to be
and do you really love me?
and do I really care?
will I ever know you?
will you ever dare?
and who do we see and who's really there?
We don’t need medicine
We don’t need medicine
We don’t need medicine
We don’t need anything
Oh give me my medicine
I need my medicine
Hippo is haunting me
I'm feeling slow
Teach me to hide
Help me to flow
You be the red balloon
I'll watch you go
Go wave to the high
I'll hey to the low
But paint my eyes
So they’ll never know
and do you really love me?
and do I really care?
will I ever know you?
will you ever dare?
and who do we see and who's really there?
We don’t need medicine
We don’t need medicine
We don’t need medicine
We don’t need medicine
We don’t need medicine
We don’t need medicine
We don’t need medicine
We don’t need anything
Lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalala!

Born
04:27
|
|||
I think I was born
On the radio
From a song that snuck inside my mama's head
She went dancing
At the corner store
And all the men there smoking their cigarettes wished
They were living stead of dead
And then one walked right over
She smiled he looked all right
He said hey darling,
Will you dance with me tonight?
She said no
And went on twirling out the door
And all the men laughed with those cigarettes in their teeth
So he picked himself up spat his drink came to and stumbled out for more
And found her tip toeing on the yellow lines in the middle of the street
and so he tip toed after
She smiled he couldn't do it right
He said hey darling
Will you dance with me tonight?
She said your drunk
And she took off through the trees
Leaving nothing behind but the strawberry smell of her hair upon the breeze
That was enough for him
And he went after as best he could
But the moon was covered with clouds and she disappeared in the quiet wood and so he sank down slowly
He smiled she was all right
He said oh darling
I wish I danced with you tonight
But then there she was
A beautiful wild wind
Upon a horse like sweet saint Joan goin to battle for the win
Well luckily there were two horses
So he catched himself a ride
Asked the horse to go as fast as he could till they were racing side by side
and then he leaned on over
She smiled he was doing all right
he said hey darling
will you dance with me tonight?
she said not yet
and pulled over by the shore
she let the horses go let her dress fall down so the starlight was all she wore
and then she walked right over
she smiled he was all right
she said hey darling
will you dance with me tonight?
and so I was born
on the radio
from a song that snuck inside my momma's head

I thought what could be more interesting

Put it on the internet
But nobody has like it yet
I thought you wanted interesting
What do you want?
Tell me
Why?
Why?
Nobody likes me
But I have so many friends
Nobody likes me
I thought I was interesting
Nobody likes me
What am I supposed to do?
Ill show you
My girlfriend just broke up with me
But I don’t need your therapy
This is an opera tunity
A real life moment selfie
Put it on the internet
But nobody has liked it yet
I thought you wanted interesting
What do you want?

Time for part two
You can do anything you want to
All you have to do is try
You can do anything you want to
But the girl next door is willing to die
Put everything you have on the line

The Fall
08:33
|
|||
there is a bridge where the children run
over the ocean vast
smell the flowers they're talking to you
hello the next step’s your last
the floor is empty you start to fall
ocean opes her lips like a cannon ball
come get your licks boy come join the crawl
come get your licks boy come join the crawl
come get you licks boy come join us all
and
the child above you is getting so small
the child who loved you cant find you at all
you reach its too late you just hear him call
he screams to the skies
oh!
Another one falls
Ahhhhhhhhhh!
Welcome to the fall
A hollow hotel for the tethered and tall
And the hippo sounds round the hall
Hello, you’re late, change your clothes, take your cake
Your schedule, your schedule is pinned to the wall
Welcome to the fall
And the fool in the corner says I'm over here
His white face is leaking I'll make you appear
He's singing so sweetly and no one can hear
Ahhhhhhhhhh
Welcome to The Fall
A pageant for ghosts in a concrete mall
And there they are thriving in their thirties
Answering every phone
Pinnacles of punctuality
Sweating florescence for the neon stone
Whats mines mine and whats mine I own
Whats mines mine and whats mine I own
And the fool in the corner says hey look at me
If the world were my eyes id make you all see
If the world were my heart we all would be free
And
the child above you is getting so small
the child who loved you cant find you at all
you reach its too late you just here him call
why why why why must they fall
fall
fall
welcome to the fall
a watch watchers wait for the dreamers to stall
and a cat comes collecting coins for contributions
im selling souls sir for so called solutions
which way do you stand in the fall sir?
which way do you stand in the fall?
which way do you stand?
And the fool in the corner says hey boy look out
They’ll toss you away if they see that you doubt
Listen to me boy I'll help you out
Listen to me boy I'll help you out
Ladada ladada I’ll help you out
Ladada ladada I’ll help you out...

The Actor
05:18
|
|||
I am just an actor living play by play
I've got no thought for the time
I walk on when they tell me
I do the things so strange
I wonder how to say the line
And people come and then they leave
after they laugh roll up their sleeves
they say hey that play just changed my life
Then it’s lonely walking to the underground
A lonely train uptown
And the only thing that gets me by is drinking wine
In the dark
And then my heart
Don’t have to lie
It can just breathe
I am just an actor living lie by lie
I try to make you believe
So watch me roar across the floor
live love never dreamed before
But I got nothing when you leave
So I slip into my sea
where mermaid's blue lips set me free
their wishes wash the winter from my mind
But its lonely living in a dreamland
A lonely lonely crown on my head
Still the only thing that gets me by is painting rhymes
On the dark
then my heart
Don’t have to part
It can just breathe
So I am an actor living part by part
they start to walk to one
Say have you heard the tale
of the man who seemed to only fail
but don't you love him when he's down
oh that’s where you'll find me
hammers in my hands
singing to the ocean as long as I can stand
and its lonely
Living as a mirror
With everyone and no one by your side
and it’s the only thing that gets me by I'll play till I’m
In the dark
And then my heart
Don’t have to play
It can just breathe

New York Times

cuz I feel they forgot me
I'm not sure I want to stay
the one two champion of my childhood
says why you lookin at me that way?
cuz I need inspiration
inspiration's a candy coated drug
I'm suckin on nothing
I long to be somthin
I'm not gonna rhyme my dream with drug
So I look to the stairs
But she isn’t there
Oh its just the New York times
And all of my friends try and convince me
Everything you feel is the phase
And all the folks they wanna reason with me
Cuz it please you to believe its just those young person days
But you never said it be like this
No one told me how I would cry
No one told me I wouldn’t know what to do
But most of all no one tells you no one's ever gonna tell you
I look to the stairs
But she isn’t there
Oh its just the New York times
And I got three friends in my corner
My corner of which I'm so proud
got the friend who says hey man it'll all be ok
can't listen to him right now
I got two friends in my corner
My corner is getting so small
My friend who say says hey man I'm with you right now
But I don’t believe him at all
I got one friend in my corner
My corner's becoming a hole
My friend who says nothing
Oh why you say nothing?
I know you got something
Your silence is scaring me
Yes we are alone we all are alone but please lets agree not to be so alone
I know we are alone we all are all alone but please lets agree not to be
So alone
And I look to the stairs
But she she isn’t there
Oh its just the New York times

I Don't Know
05:05
|
|||
staring at the sea
you see a bird fly by
a bird with two sweet wings
and nothing else upon her mind
she says what you doing thinking boy
you're wasting all your time
let it go brother let it go
But I don't know
where I am going
I don't know my right from wrong
All I know is when I'm singing
I feel like I belong
People say hey Christopher it's time to be a man
No one standing six foot one can be a peter pan
So get yourself a credit card and a retirement plan man
I don’t know mama I don’t know
Oh I don’t know where I am going
I don’t know my right from wrong
All I know is when Im singing
I feel like I belong
Yes I feel like I belong
Oh I don’t know where I am going
I don’t know my right from wrong
All I know is when I’m singing
I feel like I belong
Staring at the sea see a bird fly by
A bird with two sweet wings and nothing else up on her mind
She says what you doing thinking boy your wasting all your time
Let it go brother let it go
I don’t know where I am going
I don’t know the end of my song
All I know is when im singing
I feel like I belong
Yes I feel like I
Belong
